About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our team at VOIS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, Data Fusion, and Cloud SQL, along with strong ETL capabilities using tools like Ab Initio or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Proficiency in Unix and SQL-based systems such as Teradata is essential. This role involves end-to-end software development, from design and coding to testing and maintenance, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data solutions using GCP services.
  • Build and manage ETL pipelines using Ab Initio, ODI, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across systems.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and transformation.
  • Operate in a Unix-based environment for scripting and automation tasks.

Who you are

  • 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Proficient in GCP services: BigQuery, Dataproc, Data Fusion, and Cloud SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools, preferably Ab Initio or ODI.
  • Strong command of Unix and SQL (including Teradata).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
