About this Role

We are seeking a DevOps & CI/CD Platform Engineer to support enterprise-wide tooling transformation initiatives with a strong focus on governance, audit compliance and delivery efficiency. This role plays a key part in redesigning JIRA Cloud using a greenfield approach, modernising CI/CD platforms through GitHub Actions, and enabling SOX-compliant, traceable delivery pipelines across planning, development, testing and release stages.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and execute JIRA Cloud redesign initiatives using a greenfield approach, with workflows acting as enforcement mechanisms for SOX change controls
  • Configure and optimise JIRA issue types, workflows, permissions and integrations in a governance‑critical and audit‑proof manner
  • Drive CI/CD platform transformation, including migration from Jenkins‑based pipelines to GitHub Actions
  • Redesign CI/CD pipelines with GitHub as the single source of truth, standardising reusable workflows and secrets management
  • Lead ALM‑integrated CI/CD migration activities to ensure end‑to‑end traceability across planning, code, build, test and release
  • Contribute to the redesign of SOX evidence automation using Confluence‑centric documentation models and pipeline‑generated deployment evidence
  • Collaborate with IMA, Data & Analytics, DevOps, Testing and Architecture teams to embed redesigned workflows into future delivery and operating standards
  • Support ITIL‑aligned incident resolution and service request fulfilment for tooling and CI/CD platforms
  • Coordinate with security and network teams on access approvals, firewall rules and connectivity requirements

Who you are

  • Strong hands‑on experience with JIRA Cloud, particularly in governance‑critical workflow and permission design
  • Proven expertise in CI/CD transformation, including Jenkins pipeline engineering and migration to GitHub Actions
  • Hands‑on experience with GitHub repository management and enterprise‑scale CI/CD enablement
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and enterprise tooling standardisation
  • Experience working in ITIL‑governed environments (Incident, Change and Problem Management)
  • Exposure to Unix/Linux environments, basic networking concepts and firewall coordination
  • Exposure to Ab Initio Co‑Operating System is an added advantage
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, CI/CD or enterprise tooling roles
