About this Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who can independently design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines from the ground up. This is a hands-on role within a Scrum squad, with a strong focus on automation, clean engineering practices, and consistent environment provisioning. The individual will contribute directly to platform reliability and delivery quality by applying appropriate technologies, standards, and best practices while continuously developing their technical capabilities.

What you will do

  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform modules, remote state, and reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins scripted pipelines (Groovy) and Azure DevOps YAML.
  • Automate build, deployment, testing, and configuration workflows for microservices and containerised platforms.
  • Containerise and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes platforms such as AKS or EKS.
  • Implement environment provisioning, secrets management, access controls, and infrastructure security practices.
  • Integrate quality and security tools including SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and automation processes.

Who you are

  • An experienced DevOps professional with advanced hands-on expertise in Terraform.
  • Proficient in Jenkins scripted pipelines using Groovy and Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
  • Experienced in working with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift-based platforms.
  • Comfortable writing Shell and/or Python scripts for automation.
  • Familiar with Git-based version control systems and artefact repositories such as JFrog, Nexus, or Artifactory.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is highly valued.
  • Additional experience with Ansible automation, Oracle SQL basics, or Java/Groovy for automation logic is advantageous.
