About this Role

We are seeking a Category Support Specialist to provide operational and administrative support to Category Managers and Principal Category Managers at Vodafone Procurement Company Luxembourg. This role involves assisting with sourcing projects, managing supplier data, and ensuring compliance with internal processes and digital tools.

What you will do

 

  • Gather and analyse data from internal and external sources to prepare accurate reports on spend, savings, markets, and suppliers.
  • Track supplier contracts, catalogues, and operational agreements.
  • Support supplier onboarding and maintain accurate supplier base data and performance metrics.
  • Ensure adherence to operational and administrative processes in sourcing and e-sourcing activities.
  • Prepare customised reports and presentations for category managers.
  • Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities.
  • Respond to ad-hoc administrative and operational requests from category teams.

Who you are

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of basic sourcing processes.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong time management and teamwork skills.
  • Desired: Familiarity with eSourcing tools (Ariba), SAP, and supplier operations management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
