About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to enable high‑performing Agile delivery teams and strengthen Agile maturity across squads. This role requires hands‑on facilitation of Scrum ceremonies, proactive removal of delivery impediments, and strong collaboration with engineering teams. Individuals with technical exposure—particularly in Java—are preferred to support productive discussions with developers and ensure alignment to VOIS delivery standards.

What you will do

Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Ensure sprint goals are clearly defined, achievable, and aligned with business and product priorities.Maintain transparent progress updates through Scrum boards, delivery metrics, and burndown charts.Identify delivery obstacles and coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve them promptly.Support the team in staying focused on sprint commitments and continuous delivery.Coach team members in Agile principles, practices, and frameworks while promoting a self‑organising culture.Provide mentorship to junior Scrum Masters when required.Act as a liaison between delivery squads and business/technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and expectation alignment.Support prioritisation discussions with Product Owners.Facilitate data‑driven retrospectives and ensure actionable improvements are implemented.Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, quality, predictability, and velocity.Contribute to wider Agile transformation initiatives within VOIS.

Who you are

Total 5–6 years of experience in IT with at least 2–3 years as a Scrum Master.Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe.Technical background with exposure to Java development.Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution abilities.Analytical thinker with effective problem‑solving skills.Ability to thrive in fast‑paced and evolving delivery environments.Demonstrates empathy, emotional intelligence, and collaborative team behaviour.Possesses industry‑recognised certification such as CSM or equivalent (preferred).Experience scaling Agile practices across larger programmes (preferred).Hands‑on experience using Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel.
