About this Role
What you’ll do
- Build, test, and deliver analytical models leveraging new and existing datasets to support defined use cases
- Perform data preparation, cleansing, and optimisation using SQL and NoSQL technologies
- Develop descriptive and predictive models tailored to specific customer segments, products, and services
- Support business stakeholders by contributing to decision-making processes through data-driven insights
- Collaborate with commercial teams to present recommendations based on analytical outcomes
- Contribute to product management activities by identifying and defining customer-facing analytics use cases
- Support the definition and improvement of analytics lifecycle processes for efficient and cost-effective delivery
- Participate in business analysis activities and document specifications for information requests
Who you are
- Experienced in advanced analytics techniques such as descriptive, predictive, and optimisation modelling
- Comfortable working with complex, high-volume, and high-dimensional datasets (preferably using Hadoop or Spark)
- Proficient in SQL and database technologies such as Teradata, Oracle, or MySQL
- Skilled in applying machine learning techniques to practical business problems
- Experienced in statistical tools such as Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, or SPSS
- Educated in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, with relevant experience
- Confident working in international, distributed, and agile team environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and system analysis capabilities
- Effective communicator, able to translate complex findings into clear and simple language
- Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
