The Community Of Practice is a core element of the VOIS CFSL organization, and plays a vital role in achieving our strategic goals, especially in terms of impact generation and process simplification. The aims of the COP for Asset and Project Accounting (APA) and Intercompany (ICO processes are to successfully drive global programmes of process improvements, ensuring that those improvements are embedded into the existing organisation structures, and measuring the resulting improvements to process health

The PMO Lead is responsible for leading and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) within the APA & ICO COP, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with organizational goals. This role provides strategic direction, governance, and oversight of the project management processes and methodologies across the organization. The PMO Lead is a key player in improving project performance, driving organizational change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

PMO Leadership & Strategy
•    Define and implement the vision, strategy, and objectives of the PMO aligned with the business goals.
•    Oversee the development and execution of project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
•    Establish, track, and report on key PMO performance indicators (KPIs).
•    Provide direction, and guidance to project managers.

Project Oversight and Governance:
•    Establish and maintain project management frameworks and tools to drive consistency and efficiency across projects.
•    Monitor project progress, ensuring that issues are identified early, and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
•    Provide status updates to senior management on project performance, including risks, issues, and changes.
•    Manage the stakeholder matrix and communications plan together with related operational stakeholder and engagement reporting across the programme 

Continuous Improvement and Innovation
•    Lead efforts to continuously improve PMO processes, tools, and methodologies.
•    Encourage a culture of innovation and best practices in project delivery.

Role

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 
[max 5]: 
•    Project Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid), tools, and best practices.
•    Strategic Thinking: Ability to align project activities with organizational goals and priorities.
•    Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
•    Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address challenges in a proactive and timely manner.
•    Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across projects
Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
•    Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams preferred
•    •Background in process improvement and driving change is a plus
•     PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification preferred
•    •Lean Six Sigma or Agile certifications are a plus
Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
•    University degree and/or Masters, further post graduate business qualification CA/ CWA/MBA highly advantageous

•    In excess of 8 years finance experience, APA/ICO experience desirable
•    Effectiveness of project risk and issue management.
•    Resource utilization efficiency.
•    Improvement in PMO maturity and project management processes.
