Role

Role purpose:  As a Project Manager, you are responsible for driving process improvements, standardizing procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. You play a key role in enhancing policy frameworks, managing projects, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.
•    Project Management:
o    Drive projects by identifying and developing plans for various initiatives, ensuring continuous trade and business operations.
o    Ensure process requirements are embedded in solution designs for different initiatives
•    Lead the review and update of process documentation:
o    Ensuring it is a complete and intuitive representation of the process.
o    Work with PGT team to ensure ARIS/Signavio reflects it correctly
•    Standardization and Automation:
o    Drive standardization and automation initiatives to reduce the risk of misstatement and improve financial reporting accuracy.
o    Develop and implement strategies to enhance automation and standardization efforts.
•    Budget and Forecast Management
•    Growth and Development:
o    Support the business in driving sustainable growth to improve returns.
o    Collaborate with essential stakeholders to align with customer-focused priorities.
o    Ensure process documentation is updated in accordance with changes from roadmap initiatives.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Project Management: 

•    Leading and managing projects, meeting project  management timelines, aligning with stakeholders, delivering the requirements

•    Supports the FOCUS strategic Programme drive performance to ensure that the Finance Transformation is on time and on quality 


Stakeholder Management: 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:

•    High level of analytical and problem solving as well as presentation skills

•    Business acumen and ability to identify varied business problems and suggest solutions, even “out of the box

•    Strong communication skills, interpersonal and influencing skills 

•    Results oriented and experience of managing and leading projects
Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

•    University degree and/or Masters, further post graduate business qualification CA/ CWA/MBA highly advantageous

•    In excess of 8 years finance experience, APA/ICO experience desirable
