About this Role
As Deputy General Manager – S15 Accounting/GL, you will lead a high-performing team within the ARC Central Hub, delivering world-class financial services to key local markets including Germany, Romania, and the Czech Republic. This role is pivotal in overseeing Record to Report (R2R) activities, including IFRS15 (S15), Revenue and OPEX Accounting, and Lease Accounting (S16). You will act as the escalation point for operational matters, drive automation initiatives, and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

What you will do
• Lead and manage S15 revenue accounting and reporting, including month-end assessments, analysis of Generic POB, Tech Fund, Rebate True Ups, and accruals.
• Oversee GL activities such as period management, HFM uploads and validations, SOX controls, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive automation and efficiency across the R2R process.
• Manage S16 lease accounting and reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of external audit and statutory reports.
• Lead internal control processes including 3C and support ad hoc management reporting and presentations.
• Deliver insightful revenue/margin analytics and reporting against KPIs and targets.
• Support new transitions from local markets and ensure seamless integration.
• Build strong relationships with ARC and local market stakeholders, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and issues.
• Mentor and guide a team of 10–15 direct reports, fostering capability development and performance excellence.
What skills you need
• Proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical skills and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Effective planning, prioritisation, and time management abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA (part-qualified or equivalent practical experience).
