About this Role

We are seeking a Quality of Service (QoS) Specialist to support Vodafone Network Operations by delivering high-quality performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation activities across mobile networks. This role focuses on preventive and corrective second-line investigations to ensure service continuity, improve radio access network (RAN) KPIs, and enhance customer experience. The individual will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage incidents, resolve network issues efficiently, and contribute to the overall network operations strategy

What you’ll do

  • Analyse radio network performance and troubleshoot RAN KPI issues across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
  • Perform proactive maintenance and optimisation activities to prevent incidents and improve network efficiency.
  • Support incident, problem, and change management processes in alignment with ITIL practices.
  • Work closely with first-line operations teams to define procedures for alarm analysis and fault resolution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive end-to-end resolution of network performance issues.
  • Manage escalations to vendors and partners, providing clear guidance to accelerate issue resolution.
  • Monitor network performance metrics and ensure timely communication of incidents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to automation and process improvements to enhance SLA and KPI performance.
  • Collaborate in knowledge-sharing initiatives to strengthen technical capabilities across teams.
  • Support vendor management activities, including oversight of contracts and service quality.

Who you are

  • An individual with strong understanding of mobile network architecture across multiple technologies and vendors.
  • Experienced in analysing and troubleshooting radio performance KPIs and counters.
  • Skilled in proactive network maintenance and continuous optimisation practices.
  • Knowledgeable in ITIL-based incident management processes.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Typically holds a degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
  • Brings substantial professional experience within the telecommunications domain.
