Who you are

Working for Business Intelligence requires a good understanding of the business context and the business requirements. The focus of the role is the development and maintenance of BI dashboards and BI self-service front-end tools for data analysis of business users in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in other IT departments. The individuals in this role possess great understanding of data visualization concepts and best practices, ability to create visualization that help business to make the right interpretation quickly with accuracy and with ease. Need to be sensitive about data security, data quality, business SLA and timeliness.    

Role Description:
•    Design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports
•    Strong knowledge of Python for automation of jobs.
•    Schedule and run reports
•    Distribution reports
•    Check report failures and errors in dashboards and reports
•    Communicate issues and delays to the users
•    Delivery life cycle management - Support users on dashboard reporting related issues/questions/service requests
•    Support content-related analysis
•    Support user access management
•    Support maintenance of test and pre-production Tableau Server
•    Technologies: Tableau, Python, javascript, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, VBA), SQL (Teradata, Oracle)

What you will do?

  • 4-9 years of strong Tableau development experience
  • Strong knowledge of python and automation
  • Strong SQL experience - Advanced level of SQL (Teradata, Oracle) scripting
  • Excellent data interpretation skills
  • Good knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence, good understanding of the range of data manipulation and analysis techniques
  • Reporting experience including interface with Webservices, data sources
  • Working knowledge of large information technology development projects using methodologies and standards
  • Experience in Agile work environment and well-versed with Atlassian tools JIRA & Confluence 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information technology concepts to non-technology personnel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, attitude to plan and organize work to deliver as agreed
  • Basic coding skills in Javascript
  • Hands-on experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
