About this Role

As a VES Environment Analyst at VOIS, the individual will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting test environments, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across systems. This role demands close collaboration with infrastructure, security, and application teams to maintain high standards of environment setup and vulnerability management.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate firewall implementation between systems, security, and network infrastructure teams.
  • Manage and maintain test environments aligned with production code bases.
  • Provide support and troubleshoot network firewall-related issues.
  • Forecast effort estimates for environment setup and support activities.
  • Deliver structured reports on environment setup procedures and progress.
  • Collaborate with firewall implementation teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Address and resolve security vulnerabilities in coordination with application and infrastructure teams.

What skills you need

Must-Have Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing test environment setups.
  • Proficiency in firewall implementation and connectivity setup processes.
  • Experience in managing deployments within test environments.
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud architecture, particularly AWS and OCI.
  • Strong communication skills to convey ideas and updates effectively to stakeholders.
Good to Have:
  • Familiarity with UNIX and basic Java.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira.
  • Understanding of order provisioning processes within the telecommunications domain.
  • Knowledge of change request (CR) management in test environments.

What skills you will learn

  • Advanced coordination across cross-functional teams for environment setup.
  • Enhanced understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and security protocols.
  • Exposure to telecom-specific provisioning and environment management practices.
  • Broader experience in collaborative reporting and effort estimation techniques.
