Role Specific
This role involves preparation and financial analyses of Budget vs Actual Data, month-end closure processes, and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed to a high standard. The role requires interaction with LM FinOps teams and Business Managers for inputs and query solving, supporting the LM Team to ensure accuracy on Capex Spent Analysis, and utilizing systems and software (SAP) to prepare and analyze financial risks in FAR. The role also involves ensuring SOX controls are maintained, liaising with commercial accountants and the Business/Markets to relay financial performance, processing asset creation/changes, and delivering monthly reporting suites.You are an accountancy qualified or part qualified individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You have knowledge of SAP and demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values. You adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards and address breaches in the Intercompany Policy. You can work within tight deadlines and stressful environments and possess MS Office skills.Preparation and financial analyses of Budget vs Actual Data & analysis of variance every monthMonth-end closure process, with depreciation analysis & approvals, accrual & provision journalsEnsure balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis to a high standardInteract directly with the LM FinOps teams, Business Managers for inputs & query solvingSupport the LM Team to ensure accuracy on Capex Spent AnalysisUtilize systems and software (SAP) to prepare and analyse financial risks in FAR & pass necessary provisionsEnsure SOX controls are maintained, including formal annual sign-off and adherence to Group accounting policiesLiaise with commercial accountants and the Business/Markets to relay in period & YTD financial performanceReview monthly results & feed into the Local Market forecasting processProcess asset creation/changes, capitalization basis the inputs & discussions with LM business teamsAccountable for the delivery of any monthly reporting suitesEnsure all SLAs of the SSC are adhered toPromote continuous process improvement cultureDeliver to agreed project deadlines including appropriate level of planning/integrationComplete audit support & query handling for the Capex areaSupport LM on interim and y/e certification call/requirementsAccountancy qualified or part qualifiedExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsSAP knowledge is an advantageAble to work within tight deadlines and stressful environmentsMS Office skillsDesired Profile:CA (Inter /Final)/ MBA with 10 or more years accounting experienceAbility to analyse and interpret financial data to identify problems, apply theories, concepts, and develop plans to attain solutionsAbility to exercise independent judgementWorking knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles and conceptsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAutomotive Accounting experience preferred, but not requiredHFM reporting and Power BI knowledge will be an additional advantageAdvanced financial analysis techniquesEnhanced SAP utilization for financial risk analysisImproved SOX controls and adherence to Group accounting policiesEffective liaison with commercial accountants and Business/MarketsAdvanced asset creation/changes processing
