About this Role
We are seeking a Release Management professional to oversee end-to-end release planning, scheduling, execution, and post‑deployment support. The individual will collaborate closely with product management, development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth, timely, and high‑quality releases across digital and IT environments.
What you will do
- Coordinate release planning by working with product management, development, and QA teams to define scope, timelines, and requirements.
- Develop and maintain release calendars, ensuring alignment across teams and managing inter‑dependencies.
- Communicate release plans and expectations to a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring transparency and readiness.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may affect release timelines or quality.
- Oversee the complete release lifecycle—from build and test to deployment and monitoring.
- Support post‑release activities, including issue resolution and performance monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to optimise release processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Advocate for and contribute ideas towards automation solutions, including CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Track and report key release metrics to support decision-making.
- Resolve conflicts or issues arising during release cycles.
Who you are
- You possess ITIL, Scrum Master, or DevOps certifications.
- You have strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, release management, project management, and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- You bring 8–10 years of experience in relevant technology and release environments.
- You are familiar with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and related technologies (e.g., GIT, Jenkins).
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and can address challenges across build, test, and deployment stages.
- You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- For senior responsibilities, you bring leadership abilities that facilitate cross-team collaboration.
