About this Role

We are seeking an experienced E2E Platforms Architect to help shape, define, and lead the strategy for digital, cloud, and integration platforms across VOIS. This role provides vital technical leadership in architecting resilient, scalable, cloud‑native platforms aligned with Vodafone’s global technology strategy. The individual will collaborate with product, platform, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver high‑performance, sustainable services that support the organisation’s digital transformation and modernisation ambitions.

What you will do

  • Ensure the modernisation of platforms is aligned with the digital, cloud, and integration strategy, along with Vodafone’s global technology standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Develop innovative and effective platform components that promote consistency across similar vendor technologies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for digital, cloud, and integration architecture across Azure, AWS, GCP and future cloud providers, including networking, provisioning, and platform management.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define, create, and maintain a library of deployable and documented design patterns, templates, and blueprints to support repeatable cloud service deployments.
  • Champion the digital, cloud, and integration architecture vision by guiding stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making, and providing assurance for technical designs.

Who you are

  • A senior technical expert with deep experience in cloud, digital, and integration platforms.
  • Skilled in architecting resilient, available, automated cloud‑native platforms across major providers such as Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • Confident in advising and influencing diverse teams including product, engineering, platform, and infrastructure functions.
  • Proficient in developing reusable architectural frameworks, templates, and patterns that accelerate cloud adoption.
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
