About this Role
What you’ll do
- Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), system regression, and performance testing (where applicable) for data migration solutions
- Validate ETL pipelines and perform data reconciliation between Teradata and GCP platforms
- Test and validate GCP services, including Dataflow, Cloud Run, Dataform, Eventarc, and Pub/Sub
- Ensure data integrity, completeness, and accuracy following migration activities
- Test PII data anonymisation, masking, and protection mechanisms
- Validate encryption and decryption processes using GPG and Format Preserving Encryption (FPE)
- Execute performance and volume testing for large-scale datasets
- Apply strong data validation techniques using SQL and data warehousing concepts
Who you are
- An experienced professional with 5–8 years in data/ETL testing or data migration quality engineering
- Skilled in validating ETL processes and data pipelines in cloud environments, particularly GCP
- Knowledgeable in handling PII data, including anonymisation and encryption practices
- Familiar with cloud-based data architectures and large-scale data migration testing
- Proficient in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and data validation methodologies
- Comfortable validating complex distributed systems and ensuring data quality across platforms
