About this Role

We are seeking an analytically driven finance professional to play a pivotal role within our Finance Transformation Centre of Excellence. This role partners closely with senior finance stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate and insightful reporting that supports strategic and operational decision-making. You will help establish a single source of truth for financial data, enhance reporting quality, and drive continuous improvement through automation and advanced analytics, while operating within robust governance and control frameworks.

What you will do

  • Deliver reliable, timely and high-quality financial reporting, including regular and ad-hoc insights for finance stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, variances and anomalies to support informed decision-making.
  • Design clear, intuitive dashboards and reports that enhance understanding and usability for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with data owners to ensure data quality, integrity and consistency, proactively resolving issues.
  • Streamline and automate reporting processes using advanced tools such as Power BI and other analytics platforms.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand strategic questions, challenge assumptions, and translate needs into robust analytical solutions.
  • Maintain reporting governance, documentation, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
  • Support and develop team members, encouraging continuous learning, collaboration and analytical excellence.

Who you are

  • A finance professional with strong, broad financial knowledge and a passion for data-driven insights.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly through reports and dashboards.
  • Experienced in advanced Excel and confident in handling large, complex datasets.
  • Skilled in communicating clearly and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose practical solutions.
  • Experienced or near-qualified in ACA, CIMA or ACCA, or able to demonstrate equivalent depth of financial analysis experience.
  • Familiar with SAP and Anaplan (advantageous), with experience in Power BI or similar reporting tools.
