About this Role

We are seeking a finance professional to manage end-to-end accounting and settlement activities for Roaming, Interconnect, Content, and MVNO business streams. This role focuses on accurate financial reporting, revenue and cost accounting, and ensuring robust controls across month-end processes and partner settlements. The position also involves close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and local market stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service-level expectations.

What you’ll do

  • Manage settlement of costs and revenue for roaming, interconnect, content, and MVNO business partners
  • Validate costs with local market outsourced network partners
  • Prepare partner revenue payments and perform invoice validation
  • Reconcile partner payments and manage receipt set-ups within local markets
  • Prepare invoices and credit notes for business partners
  • Post monthly revenue and cost journals and ensure accurate accounting records
  • Deliver timely cash forecasts and financial reporting
  • Ensure invoicing, accounting, and reconciliations are completed as per monthly schedules
  • Perform accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Manage intercompany accounts payable and receivable, including balance confirmations
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls aligned with margin policies
  • Ensure adherence to system rules, authority limits, and service-level agreements
  • Monitor and resolve disputes in line with contractual agreements
  • Engage with third parties for invoicing, collections, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with leadership teams and stakeholders to meet expectations
  • Continuously improve processes by suggesting simplification and standardisation opportunities
  • Support Procure-to-Pay processes and ensure compliance with defined requirements
  • Take ownership of operational issues and drive timely resolutions

Who you are

  • Experienced in revenue and cost accounting, including month-end journal processes (3–6 years)
  • Knowledgeable in financial reporting, MIS, and analytical evaluation
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Educated to graduate or postgraduate level in Commerce or a related discipline
  • Familiar with the Australian telecom industry (preferred)
  • Skilled in communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented in a dynamic environment
  • Committed to continuous learning and improvement
