About this Role

We are seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant to join our ARC team within APA at VOIS. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end fixed assets accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements, and supporting audit processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in month-end close activities, project capitalisation, reconciliations, fixed asset controls, and stakeholder collaboration to support efficient financial operations and informed business decision-making.

What you’ll do

Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset additions, disposals, depreciation processing, and month-end closing activities.Post month-end journals, including Opex to Capex and Capex to Capex transfers, and prepare fixed assets reporting packs.Capitalise projects within the fixed assets register and ensure timely project closure.Create, monitor, and enhance controls, procedures, and documentation related to asset capitalisation.Reconcile fixed asset subsidiary ledger balances with general ledger balances and resolve identified variances.Prepare monthly fixed assets balance sheet reconciliations, including explanations and action plans for outstanding items.Support half-year and year-end audit requirements by providing accurate information and documentation.Ensure all month-end close activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.Conduct fixed asset analyses and reporting as requested by management.Adhere to risk management controls and proactively identify and escalate potential risks.Ensure compliance with business rules, authority levels, service standards, and operational procedures.Take ownership of day-to-day operational issues and drive timely resolution.Partner closely with project managers and stakeholder teams to build effective working relationships and deliver quality service.Coordinate with onshore fixed assets teams to align with financial control initiatives and business priorities.Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and contribute to team success.Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Who you are

Qualified or pursuing CA, ICWA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or B.Com.Knowledge of fixed assets accounting, gained through academic studies or professional experience.Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.Understanding of financial reporting principles and accounting processes.Knowledge of IFRS and SOX compliance requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed deadlines.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Comfortable working with large volumes of financial information and performing detailed analysis.Collaborative team player with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.Ability to work with a degree of independence while seeking guidance when required.
