About this Role
What you’ll do
- Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Design and implement microservices and REST/SOAP-based web services.
- Work with AWS services to build scalable and efficient solutions.
- Implement and manage messaging solutions using Kafka.
- Write, debug, and maintain React unit test cases to ensure application quality.
- Collaborate with teams to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
- Perform database design, development, and optimisation using SQL.
- Work in Unix/Ubuntu-based environments for development and deployment activities.
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools such as Kibana and Elasticsearch where applicable.
Who you are
- Experienced in Java 8, Spring Boot, and modern full stack development practices.
- Proficient in React, including testing frameworks and debugging techniques.
- Familiar with AWS cloud services and event-driven architecture using Kafka.
- Knowledgeable in REST and SOAP web services development.
- Comfortable working in Ubuntu/Linux-based environments.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with hands-on experience in SQL.
- Able to understand complex business processes and translate them into application requirements.
- Exposure to tools and technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, Liquibase, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and Grafana is advantageous.
