About this Role
What you’ll do
- Monitor the quality and performance of scheduled data jobs, ensuring timely execution and issue resolution.
- Perform manual job runs where necessary to maintain data availability and consistency.
- Provide fixes and solutions for L2/L3 incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL/ELT pipeline issues impacting data ingestion and processing.
- Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, GCS, Compute instances, and Looker Studio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data pipeline reliability and performance.
- Support deployments and operations of data pipelines using tools such as Airflow, CDAP, Composer, CDF, and Cloud Run.
Who you are
- An individual with foundational knowledge of GCP Cloud technologies.
- Experienced in working with tools such as BigQuery, GCS, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Skilled in SQL and UNIX, with the ability to troubleshoot data and pipeline-related issues.
- Familiar with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Docker, and GitLab.
- Knowledgeable in Agile delivery methodologies; familiarity with SAFe is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with Agile tools such as JIRA, BMC Remedy, and Confluence.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong interest in investigating and resolving complex challenges.
- Experienced in data analysis and performance monitoring.
