About this Role

We are seeking a skilled GCP Platform Engineer to join our Big Data Engineering team within the BI service line. This permanent role is based in Pune, Bangalore or Ahmedabad and focuses on maintaining, migrating, and deploying machine learning models in Google Cloud environments. The individual will be responsible for CI/CD pipeline development, model validation, and infrastructure automation, contributing to scalable and efficient data engineering solutions.

What you will do

  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
  • Deploy and manage containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Create and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Ensure version control best practices across GitHub repositories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimise deployments.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and proactively identify issues.
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to support model deployment.
  • Stay abreast of emerging DevOps and cloud technologies.

Who you are

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in GCP platform engineering.
  • Proficient in ML model development, deployment, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with Python or shell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of Big Data and Data Engineering ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience with containerisation using Swarm/Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative environments.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Telecom domain experience is desirable.
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering or related technical stream.
