About the Role
We are seeking a skilled GCP/Azure Platform Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This role is based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad and focuses on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Python, and automation tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP services such as DataFusion, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Composer, and will be responsible for supporting data integration patterns and CI/CD pipelines. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in cloud engineering and data platforms, looking to contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain infrastructure on GCP and Azure using Terraform and automation tools.
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines for large-scale data platforms and data warehouses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Implement CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Cloud Build, and other tools.
- Work within agile and lean methodologies to deliver solutions efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM processes and utilise tools like JIRA, GitHub, and APIs.
- Participate in innovation and change initiatives to improve processes and systems.
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in GCP/Azure infrastructure and data integration.
- Proficient in Terraform, Python, Shell scripting, and JSON.
- Strong understanding of GCP services including DataFusion, Dataflow, BigQuery, Composer, and Stackdriver.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Familiarity with ITSM, JIRA, GitHub, and API invocation.
- Preferred certifications: GCP/Azure DevOps, HashiCorp Terraform.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Exposure to telecom domain and ITIL practices is desirable.
