About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in Finance and Accounting to lead our General Ledger Accounting team within the ARC Central Hub. Based in Ahmedabad, this role focuses on delivering world-class financial reporting and compliance for VISPL Market. The individual will oversee Record-to-Report processes, including IFRS15, revenue accounting, and OPEX accounting, while driving automation initiatives and ensuring robust internal controls.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage financial reporting activities, including preparation of financial statements, statutory reports, and audit coordination.
- Oversee month-end close processes, P&L reviews, HFM submissions, APA closure, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Drive automation projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting operations.
- Ensure compliance with internal control processes (3C) and deliver ad hoc management reports and presentations.
- Act as an escalation point for complex accounting issues and provide guidance to the team.
Who you are
- Chartered Accountant with at least 6 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS15, revenue accounting, and OPEX accounting.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and familiar with financial systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritise tasks, and solve problems effectively.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and growth.
