About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented individual to lead the General Ledger Accounting function within the ARC Central Hub at VOIS. Based in Ahmedabad, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and accounting services to the VISPL Market. The individual will oversee a team focused on Record to Report activities, including IFRS15 (S15), Revenue and OPEX Accounting, and will act as the escalation point for operational challenges.
What you’ll do
- Lead and supervise the team in preparing financial statements, statutory reports, and managing both internal and external audits.
- Oversee month-end GL activities including P&L review, HFM, APA closure, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Drive automation initiatives and lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
- Manage internal control processes such as 3C and support ad hoc management reporting and presentations.
- Ensure timely delivery of reports, actionable insights, and achievement of KPIs for both Local Market and VOIS.
- Respond effectively to feedback from ARC and Local Market teams.
Who you are
- A qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and financial systems; knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
- Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems collaboratively, and maintain a growth mindset.
- Skilled in planning, prioritisation, and time management.
