What you’ll do
Job Title: General Manager - Networks OPC
This role has two dimensions: leading Networks _VOIS transformation efforts and ensuring management support and control to achieve the operational, tactical and strategical objectives.
As a result, the Network OPC Manager is responsible for aligning the Networks transformation plans and roadmap with Networks _VOIS roadmap, Innovation efforts and Service Lines strategy. This includes identifying opportunities and uncovering areas within the delivery that drive performance improvements and unlock productivity increase, re-engineering operational processes to improve delivery, reduce complexity, reduce waste and incorporate accountability to sustain the change, prioritizing implementation done outside the service lines and removing barriers.
For the second dimension, this role must secure that proper transition management and operational support are provided towards all the operational teams in Networks _VOIS. The Networks OPC Manager must coordinate teams in Romania, Spain, India and Egypt to implement in an effective & efficient way the Networks _VOIS vision. As a result, the role may be accountable for leading cross-centers work streams.
From an organizational point of view, the role must cover several areas:
a) As a line manager, lead & develop the OPC teams, applying Networks principles, rules & operating models. Strive to create an adaptable workforce, empowered and innovative.
b) As a member of the Networks _VOIS extended leadership team, contribute to strategy development & implementation; be part of cross-functional work-streams
c) As a member of Networks _VOIS management team, act as a role model of Vodafone Spirit, continuously learn and develop self and mentor and guide talents in the organization, outside own department
Who you are
• Proven track record of leading large transformation programs
• Collaborative leadership: work with the delivery verticals in the organization in order to ensure operational process compliance; work across centers
• Ability to work in an international organization with matrix structure
• Budget management and financial acumen
• Practical experience (at least 7 years) in program management, IT and/or Network quality & process management, continual service improvement, transition/project management, operations support.
• Experience in both B2B and B2C companies.
Key Accountabilities:
Define the best balanced resource mix for delivering the transformation, transition management, continual service improvement, resource management, commercial analysis, operational service reporting activities.
Define and manage the department resourcing skill mix and manage the cost of service delivery by:
o Continuous learning & development
o Continuous improvement
o Automation
o Standardization
o Consolidation
Manage teams responsible for:
o Transforming the existing delivery landscape, leveraging automation & innovation
o Transitioning existing or setting up greenfield services into Networks _VOIS
o Design, develop and deploy (including training) operational processes (ISO 20k, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, TMMI compliant). Assess compliance
o Designing, implementing and executing the operational reporting
o Designing and implementing resource & talent management frameworks
o Designing and implementing cost analysis and management mechanisms, ensuring proper and accurate recharge is done towards the customers
