About this Role

We are seeking an Intercompany Accounting Analyst to manage and reconcile financial transactions across entities within the same corporate group. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with established accounting standards and controls, and the timely processing of intercompany transactions. The individual will support month-end close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit requirements, and continuous process improvement initiatives while collaborating with global finance stakeholders.

What you’ll do

Process, verify, and maintain intercompany invoices, journal entries, and accruals.Ensure accurate coding of general ledger accounts, cost centres, and tax codes.Monitor, investigate, and resolve intercompany transaction mismatches and discrepancies.Perform monthly intercompany account reconciliations within reporting deadlines.Analyse and resolve reconciling items to maintain accurate financial records.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and provide support for audit activities.Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX compliance requirements.Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and information.Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and other finance teams.Partner with global finance teams to ensure alignment and timely intercompany settlements.Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and data accuracy.Contribute to system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process standardisation programmes.

Who you are

Experience in intercompany accounting, financial accounting, reconciliation, or a related finance function.Understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and month-end close activities.Ability to process and analyse financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Experience investigating and resolving discrepancies in a structured and timely manner.Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations and audit support activities.Knowledge of internal controls, compliance requirements, and SOX-related processes.Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across global and cross-functional teams.
Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and process optimisation.Effective analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
