About this Role

We are seeking an entry-level Junior PEGA Test Engineer to support quality assurance activities for PEGA-based applications within our Technology function at VOIS. This role is ideal for individuals at the early stage of their testing career who are keen to build a strong foundation in PEGA testing, work within structured QA processes, and contribute to solution quality through accurate test execution and defect identification under the guidance of experienced team members. The role is primarily operational and based in Pune.

What you’ll do

 

  Understand functional and technical requirements related to PEGA applications.

  Execute manual and automated test cases in line with defined test plans.

  Log, track, and retest defects using test and defect management tools such as Jira and Xray, under supervision.

  Support testing activities across SIT, UAT, and regression test cycles.

  Assist with test data preparation and environment validation activities.

  Adhere to established QA processes, standards, and best practices.

  Participate in requirement walkthroughs, daily stand-ups, and defect triage discussions.

  Continuously enhance testing and PEGA knowledge through training and on-the-job learning

Who you are

  An individual with a basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.

  Familiar with the PEGA platform and the testing lifecycle at a foundational level.

  Aware of test case design techniques and the defect lifecycle.

  Exposed to automation concepts; experience with PEGA test automation, Selenium, or similar tools is an advantage.

  Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

  Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of clear documentation.

  Proactive, adaptable, and keen to learn new tools and technologies.

  Confident in verbal and written communication and collaborative working.

  Holds 0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with exposure to PEGA application testing preferred.

  Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.

  PEGA certification (CSA or similar) is desirable but not mandatory.
