About this Role

We are seeking an early-career PEGA Test Engineer to support quality assurance activities for PEGA-based applications within our Technology function at VOIS. This role is ideal for individuals who are building their foundation in software testing and are keen to learn PEGA testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Working under the guidance of experienced test leads, the role focuses on accurate test execution, defect identification, and adherence to established QA processes, contributing to high-quality solution delivery within defined timelines.

What you’ll do

Understand functional and technical requirements for PEGA applications through documentation and walkthroughs.
Execute manual and automated test cases in line with approved test plans and schedules.
Log, track, retest, and update defects using tools such as Jira and Xray, under supervision.
Support test execution across SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.
Assist with test data preparation and validation of test environments.
Follow defined QA processes, standards, and best practices consistently.
Participate in requirement walkthroughs, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings.
Continuously develop PEGA and testing knowledge through structured training and on-the-job learning.

Who you are

An individual with a foundational understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
Familiar with PEGA platform fundamentals and the testing life cycle, or motivated to develop this knowledge.
Aware of test case design techniques and the defect management lifecycle.
Exposed to automation concepts; experience with PEGA test automation, Selenium, or similar tools is an advantage.
Comfortable working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to document work clearly and accurately.
Open to learning new tools, technologies, and ways of working.
A clear communicator who works well within a team and follows guidance from senior colleagues.
