About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Java & Spring Boot Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on development experience to design and deliver scalable, high-performing applications for VOIS. This role involves working with microservices, RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Agile projects. The individual will be responsible for application architecture, low-level design, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and supporting CI/CD integration.

What you’ll do

Architect, design, and develop robust and scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Create Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and contribute to effective data modelling.
Apply best practices in coding, design, and architecture, including conducting code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Enhance application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with project managers for effort estimation, progress tracking, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD processes.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA teams and product owners across functions.
Ensure effective communication and coordination with team members and relevant departments.

Who you are

Experienced Java developer with 5–8 years working with Java (JDK 8+) and Spring Boot.
Skilled in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and ORM technologies such as Hibernate/JPA.
Familiar with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL systems.
Exposure to Kafka, email listeners, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React is beneficial.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies with strong organisational capabilities.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
