About this Role

We are seeking a skilled K2view Data Integration Specialist to support the design, development, and implementation of data solutions across multiple environments. This role involves working closely with technology and business teams to translate functional requirements into robust technical designs using K2view, support complex telecom data models, ensure high-quality code delivery, troubleshoot issues, and maintain efficient data flows across the platform.

What you will do

• Implement new and updated applications across development, test, pre-production, and production environments
• Support deployment teams to ensure accurate implementation in production
• Validate functionality of technical application interfaces
• Gather and analyse requirements derived from technical specifications
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements
• Interpret and work with normalised telecom data models
• Create low-level designs and implement changes as per specifications
• Apply configuration options creatively to address special technical requirements
• Conduct unit testing on self-developed components
• Perform system testing on implementations developed by others
• Manage complex environments where small changes have wider impacts
• Support defect fixing during System Test, Operational Acceptance Test and Production phases
• Analyse post-production data gaps and mismatches
• Conduct root cause analyses to prevent future defects
• Ensure high-quality code delivery, establish developer checklists, and review software before testing
• Provide effort estimations for development and testing
• Participate in discussions with business users on functional requirements
• Translate functional requirements into technical design and assess feasibility

Who you are

• Strong understanding of K2view architecture and components including Smart Data Controller and Web/Database Services
• Hands-on experience with Fabric CQLSH, Fabric Debugging, Synchronisation modes, Fabric Jobs, parsers, and Web Services as data sources
• Familiarity with environments, database types, interfaces, logical units, schema, instance groups, web services, tables, global parameters, functions, and transactions
• Knowledge of K2view integration with Kafka
• Strong experience with Cassandra databases
• ETL experience (AI, ODI, Informatica or similar)
• Strong SQL and database expertise
• Understanding of normalised data models and data relationships
• Optional but beneficial: Java knowledge, OGG awareness, Agile methodology understanding
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
