About this Role

We are seeking an accounting professional with experience in month-end close activities, SAP, contract management, and lease accounting. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate contract creation and maintenance, validating IFRS 16 compliance requirements, posting payments in accordance with contract terms, and resolving stakeholder queries effectively. The successful candidate will support financial accuracy, operational controls, and service delivery while working closely with local market teams and European stakeholders in a collaborative global environment.

What you’ll do

Process contract creations and modifications accurately within agreed timelines.Complete IFRS 16 checks before posting contract-related payments.Ensure contract conditions are accurate and all required controls are in place prior to payment processing.Post vendor and landlord payments in line with contractual terms and conditions.Understand upstream process dependencies to support timely and accurate contract postings.Resolve queries from local market FinOps teams, business stakeholders, and landlords on a first-time-right basis.Respond to stakeholder queries promptly, clearly, and professionally.Provide focused operational support to Local Market functions.Work effectively in a virtual, matrix-based team environment and influence stakeholders where required.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and support process improvements across Group Common Functions.Analyse and respond to non-English lease accounting queries from European stakeholders using available tools and process knowledge.Support smooth operational delivery through strong stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.

Who you are

Experience in accounting and financial operations.Understanding of lease accounting principles and IFRS 16 requirements.Experience supporting month-end close activities.Practical working knowledge of SAP.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to manage contract processing and payment-related activities.Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong problem-solving and query-resolution capabilities.Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies.Comfortable operating within a virtual and matrix-based environment.Ability to analyse and respond to stakeholder queries, including non-English communications, using appropriate tools and business processes.Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to operational excellence
