About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Linux Operations professional to provide expert-level support across Unix and Linux environments, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable system operations. This role is suited to individuals who enjoy solving complex operational challenges, strengthening system security, and contributing to stable, high-performing infrastructure within a large-scale enterprise environment.
What you will do
- Manage and resolve complex user and system issues across Unix and Linux platforms.
- Perform operating system hardening, security configuration, and compliance enforcement.
- Identify, analyse, and remediate OS-level vulnerabilities in line with security standards.
- Deploy, configure, and monitor security agents such as antivirus and endpoint detection and response tools.
- Support service operations including incidents, service requests, critical server issues, and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to audits, governance activities, and operational automation using scripting and orchestration tools such as Bash, Python, or ESA.
Who you are
- An experienced Unix/Linux administrator with strong hands-on operational expertise.
- Knowledgeable in Identity and Access Management concepts and practices.
- Confident in vulnerability management, OS hardening, and compliance frameworks.
- Comfortable working with security tools and endpoint protection agents.
- Skilled in scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- A solution-focused individual with a security-first mindset and strong ownership of outcomes.
