About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Collibra Data Governance Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale data governance solutions using the Collibra platform. The role offers an opportunity to work across metadata management, data governance, workflow development, API integrations, and governance operating models while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, and compliance across the organisation.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Collibra Data Governance solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Collibra workflows using Groovy scripting, BPMN, and the Collibra workflow toolset.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Collibra and enterprise platforms, including data quality, data catalogue, and master data management solutions.
  • Configure and optimise governance operating models, including Communities, Domains, Roles, Responsibilities, and governance processes.
  • Establish and maintain metadata management, data lineage, business glossary, and reference data capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs to expose metadata functionalities and support seamless integration with other enterprise applications
  • Create and manage business, technology, data, and governance assets and define relationships across datasets, systems, applications, and processes.
  • Produce technical designs, standards, and architecture documentation while supporting governance adoption through training and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive continuous improvements, manage delivery commitments, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organisation.

Who you are

  • Experienced in data governance, metadata management, and data catalogue solutions, with strong expertise in the Collibra platform.
  • Strong knowledge of Collibra architecture, administration, workflow development, governance operating models, and system integrations.
  • Proficient in SQL (essential) with exposure to Python, Groovy scripting, GCP, and working with CSV, JSON, XML, and log file formats.
  • Experienced in working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets across technologies such as HDFS, S3, Kafka, Cassandra, Hive, HBase, and Elasticsearch.
  • Understanding of data governance compliance frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Able to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, share ideas, and support governance adoption initiatives.
