About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Office LAN Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimise secure and reliable LAN network solutions across Vodafone’s corporate and office environments. This role focuses on delivering high-quality network architecture, ensuring operational readiness, and enabling seamless collaboration across regions while maintaining strong alignment with security and performance standards.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop high-level and low-level network architectures, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Create standardised templates and configurations to streamline deployment and improve consistency
  • Implement network solutions, including virtualisation and segmentation, aligned with business and application requirements
  • Lead proof-of-concept validations and support testing, quality assurance, and solution acceptance
  • Plan and manage network changes, ensuring alignment with established change management practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver integrated network solutionsSupport cost optimisation, including planning and monitoring of infrastructure budgetsMaintain accurate documentation aligned with cybersecurity and operational requirements
  • Drive network standardisation and harmonisation across regions and local markets
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives, including software-defined networking approaches
  • Support knowledge sharing and capability development within the team

Who you are

  • Demonstrated experience in LAN engineering within enterprise IT or data centre environments , Network engineering and security .
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, security, and infrastructure design
  • Experience configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPN gateways, and proxies
  • Familiarity with technologies such as WLAN, DHCP, DNS, directory services, and voice over IP
  • Exposure to leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, or F5Experience working in structured project environments with knowledge of service management practicesStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across global teams
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
