About this role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual to join our OSS Operations team, supporting Vodafone’s Tech2025 strategy. This role is pivotal in managing multi-domain, multi-vendor OSS platforms and driving digital transformation across network operations. The successful candidate will ensure high availability of OSS applications, lead automation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. A strong understanding of Cisco ISE, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies is essential.

What you will do

  • Ensure continuous availability and performance of OSS applications.
  • Drive automation and self-service capabilities for internal customers.
  • Take ownership of incident resolution, including fault analysis and vendor coordination.
  • Manage application changes, upgrades, and deployments across production environments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for troubleshooting and system enhancements.
  • Support integration with external systems such as SIEM, LDAP, MFA, and TACACS+.
  • Perform device and network provisioning using relevant OSS tools.
  • Lead UAT and production deployments for application and OS upgrades.
  • Provide user support and training on application usage.
  • Monitor hardware performance, manage warranties, and maintain documentation.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and alerting mechanisms.
  • Produce operational and value-add reports for business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of new features and platform growth.

Who you are

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Telecom OSS domain.
  • Proficient in Cisco ISE configuration, policy enforcement, and operational support.
  • Skilled in Unix/Linux systems with knowledge of scripting (PHP, Python, Perl, Shell) and automation.
  • Familiar with Cisco applications (CNC, HCO), networking protocols (SNMP, ICMP, netconf), and architectures (WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS).
  • Experience with MFA solutions such as FortiAuthenticator or RSA.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfortable working in a 24x7 rotating shift environment.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
