What you’ll do
- Conduct end-to-end impact assessments across all subject areas for new demands.
- Create and maintain comprehensive data architecture documentation including data models, flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Design and implement data pipelines integrating multiple sources, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align data strategies with organisational goals.
- Support software migration and perform production checks.
- Govern the application of architecture principles within projects.
- Manage database refresh and decommissioning programmes while maintaining service availability.
- Ensure correct database configuration and documentation of infrastructure changes.
- Support third-level supplier engineering teams in root cause analysis and remediation.
- Propose system enhancements and innovative solutions.
Who you are
You are a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with a strong foundation in data architecture and cloud technologies. You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about creating scalable data solutions and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What skills you need
- Strong knowledge of Teradata systems and related products.
- Proficient in SQL and data modelling concepts.
- Experience with GCP tools including Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
- Proven ability to communicate complex data concepts effectively.
- Experience in IT infrastructure management environments.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive customer satisfaction.
