About this Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of applications, platforms, and toolsets, while driving continuous improvements and enhancements at scale. The role focuses on delivering resilient, secure, and high-performing environments for mission-critical systems through automation and modern DevOps practices.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop applications and infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and maintainability
- Build automated solutions for standard operational processes, targeting zero-touch operations
- Implement robust error handling and self-healing capabilities
- Ensure stability, resilience, and performance across environments
- Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical systems
- Create and enhance tooling to improve delivery and operational stability across multiple technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build future-ready platforms with a strong customer focus
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform performance and delivery efficiency
Who you are
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a results-oriented approach
- Understanding of telecommunications systems and environments
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform and Ansible
- Exposure to observability practices and log analysis/big data systems
- Programming and scripting experience (e.g., Unix, SQL, Python, Clojure)
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Awareness of security-by-design principles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments
- Analytical mindset with creative and critical thinking capabilities
