About this Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to design and deliver integrated IT/IS solutions that support Vodafone’s strategic growth areas. This role focuses on creating high-quality architecture and solution designs for complex product developments and customer solutions across multiple business units. The individual will ensure designs meet quality, cost, and time criteria, enabling seamless development, testing, and deployment while aligning with Vodafone’s strategic objectives.

What you will do

  • Deliver trusted IT architecture and solution design services for complex product developments and customer solutions.
  • Create integrated designs for enterprise products such as Fixed and Mobile Connectivity, Unified Communications, Cloud & Hosting, and Security portfolios.
  • Ensure alignment with frameworks such as TOGAF, TM Forum, and UML standards.
  • Provide end-to-end design expertise across BSS lifecycle stages: Sell, Build, Run, Lead to Case (L2C), and Trouble to Resolve (T2R).
  • Design connectivity solutions including IPVPN, SDWAN, Ethernet, FTTP, and FTTC.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and manage third-party vendors to maintain design continuity.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, negotiate solutions, and present designs clearly.
  • Anticipate objections and work collaboratively to improve service standards.

Who you are

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent technical experience with 6–8+ years in IT/IS solution architecture within the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex cross-domain architecture and designs.
  • Strong knowledge of Telecom BSS and enterprise product sets.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF, TM Forum frameworks, and UML modelling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence, persist through challenges, and build consensus across teams.
