Description

Infrastructure engineers will be responsible for building and supporting various infrastructural deliveries for Vodafone markets. The role is specifically for lower environments having Amdocs CES product suite.

Job Responsibility

You will be involved in the following tasks - • Analyse, design and execute infrastructure projects based on demand of individual Vodafone entities. • Work with different stakeholders - Development, Testing, Release Management, customer, etc to provide software delivery from build phase to actual runtime. • Build, maintain and manage the development-integration, QA, production, training, and load test environments so that they are available to their users in accordance with the scheduled plans • Configure third party software (Java, WebLogic, Tomcat, JFrog-Artifactory, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins etc) in the various types of supported environments and builds in conjunction with development and architecture • Support deployment of application hotfixes on different environments. • Support database activities – DB patch application, Performance Monitoring and tuning etc • Optimize the build process: Implement the latest tools and improve existing utilities. • Provide immediate and long-term solutions for build errors. • Administration and installation of WebLogic and OSB. Ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems. • Provide on-call support of the environments if planned • Provide system monitoring support, performance monitoring and measurement, analysing and resolving issues • Resolve errors in environments – If the errors are not with the infrastructure, provide assistance to other teams to pinpoint the cause and resolve
We are looking for you if you have
• Innovative and proactive approach
• At least 5 year experience in Amdocs CES Development Env setup from infra demand to working setup delivery.
• Overall 4 to 14 years of experience, majority of it as IC (Infra Expert) in Amdocs applications.
• BTech/BE/MCA/MTech or equivalent
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance and resolve conflicts of interest
• Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver services and change
• Excellent communications skills – especially interpreting requirement
• Good organizational skills with ability to manage time and prioritize workload
