About this Role

We are seeking a Monitoring Consultant with extensive experience in monitoring platforms, cloud technologies, and end‑to‑end performance analysis for Amdocs applications. This individual will design, implement, and optimise monitoring strategies, build dashboards and alerts, and collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability and performance. The role is ideal for someone with strong analytical abilities, the capability to diagnose complex issues, and hands‑on experience with AWS‑based monitoring solutions.

What you will do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring strategies tailored to Amdocs applications and related services.
  • Create comprehensive dashboards and alerts to track system health, availability, and performance.
  • Apply end‑to‑end monitoring techniques across cloud‑hosted environments, particularly on AWS.
  • Use distributed tracing systems to diagnose performance issues in microservices‑based architectures.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and application teams to gather monitoring requirements and embed monitoring within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure monitoring and logging practices adhere to relevant compliance and security standards.
  • Utilise ITIL principles to manage incidents and problems effectively.
  • Communicate monitoring insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders with clarity and precision.

Who you are

  • You bring 7+ years of experience supporting cloud environments in production.
  • You have strong expertise in AWS Cloud, GitHub, CI/CD practices, Jira, Confluence, and ITIL methodologies.
  • You possess hands‑on experience with ELK Stack or Loki, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • You are familiar with Remedy or similar ticketing tools.
  • You have strong analytical reasoning, problem‑solving abilities, and an ability to manage complex monitoring challenges.
  • You communicate effectively and collaborate confidently with multidisciplinary teams.
  • You are knowledgeable about industry-standard security and compliance practices for monitoring.
