Manager_Oracle SQL, WebLogic, Order Management
Who we are
About this Role
What you will do
WebLogic and Order Management operations
- Manage the operational health, availability and performance of WebLogic-hosted Order Management applications.
- Troubleshoot WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, Node Manager, JVM health, JDBC pools, JMS queues, threads, heap usage, logs and application connectivity.
- Monitor order capture, orchestration, decomposition, fulfilment, fallout, provisioning and activation across integrated systems.
- Analyse failed or stuck orders using Oracle SQL/PLSQL, application logs, interface traces and order-state data, coordinating safe recovery through approved runbooks.
- Validate service health following approved infrastructure, database, middleware and application changes.
Incident, problem and SLA management
- Coordinate technical triage and service restoration for P1/P2 incidents, including escalation and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor response, restoration and service-request SLAs, addressing breaches, ageing and closure quality.
- Drive structured RCA, known-error documentation, corrective actions and verification of preventive measures.
- Track availability, MTTD, MTTR, incident recurrence, backlog, order fallout and fulfilment success.
Governance and continual improvement
- Support weekly and monthly service reviews with KPI trends, risks, incident themes, dependencies and improvement actions.
- Maintain operational runbooks, support procedures, access controls, monitoring coverage, escalation paths and audit evidence.
- Support change-risk assessments, readiness checks, rollback validation and post-change service assurance.
- Maintain a prioritised continual-improvement backlog informed by operational data, risk, monitoring gaps and manual effort.
Automation, observability and AI
- Automate health checks, log collection, reconciliation, order-status validation, housekeeping and operational reporting using WLST, Shell and SQL/PLSQL.
- Improve dashboards, event correlation, alert thresholds and proactive detection through enterprise observability tools.
- Apply approved AI/AIOps capabilities to anomaly detection, incident summarisation, knowledge retrieval, probable-cause analysis and order-fallout classification.
- Incorporate human validation, access controls, traceability and rollback safeguards into AI-assisted or automated remediation.
- Measure automation and AI benefits through reduced manual effort, faster detection and restoration, and fewer repeat incidents.
Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing and work-prioritisation support to application-operations engineers.
- Coordinate with Service Management, Business, CRM, Middleware, Database, Infrastructure, Security, Provisioning and vendor teams.
- Escalate unresolved service risks, capacity concerns and cross-system dependencies through agreed governance channels.
