Margin Analyst-Deputy Manager/Manager/Senior Manager-Pune
What you’ll do
As a Margin Analyst working in Vodafone Carrier Services’ s In Life Commercial Management team you will be working with the In Life Commercial Managers, billing, cease and provide teams. Your work will materially Manager you will work with Head of Margin Optimisation, Regional Head of Sales, Account Managers and Service Managers to materially impact the commercial performance of the business unit. The role is responsible for driving and closing margin opportunities identified by the team. You will also be responsible for financial hyper care of the business unit’s cost of sales ensuring that cost for ceased services are managed out of the business.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership [max 5]:
- Deliver margin opportunities identified by in the In Life Commercial Managers
- Manage VCS and VGE Triage queries of cost and revenue queries through triage file ensuring that status and margin is known for each circuit
- Work on ad hoc projects driving improved margin
- Help deliver team’s margin target.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
- Experience from working in fixed line billing, cease operation, provide, commercial change or inventory team
- Proven track record of an appetite to resolve issues.
- Need to understand processes like ETC, CN approval, PO approval. Accrual etc
- Analytical mind set and strong ability to work with complex issues
- Able to build strong relationships in a matrix organisation

- Must have technical / professional qualifications: MBA Finance/ or any discipline in Commerce
- Preferred Accountancy /Cost background,
- Advanced Excel and analytical knowledge

- Able to demonstrate successful management of COS
