About this Role
What you’ll do
- Ensure comprehensive vulnerability scanning coverage across all network assets and address any identified gaps
- Manage vulnerabilities by assessing risk and business impact, coordinating timely remediation, and tracking closure
- Support implementation of network hardening standards, patching cycles, and compliance with defined security baselines
- Process external security advisories, assess impacted assets, and ensure appropriate mitigation actions
- Provide reporting, governance support, and audit evidence related to vulnerability management and compliance
- Collaborate with network operations, engineering, security, compliance teams, and external partners to drive effective outcomes
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of vulnerability management processes through automation and optimisation initiatives
Who you are
- A professional with a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline and relevant experience in network security, compliance, or vulnerability management
- Knowledgeable in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, as well as networking fundamentals (routers, switches, proxies) and security devices (firewalls, load balancers)
- Experienced in using industry tools such as Qualys or Nessus
- Capable of managing vulnerability lifecycles, driving remediation efforts, and supporting audit and compliance requirements
- Skilled in coordinating stakeholders and working across teams to achieve security and compliance objectives
- A problem-solver with a structured and solution-oriented approach to risk reduction and process improvement
