About this Role
What you’ll do
- Develop, design, and build cloud platform modules and solutions through iterative agile delivery cycles
- Create prototypes and continuously optimise solutions to improve business outcomes
- Conduct peer reviews and maintain high coding and documentation standards
- Drive automation and integration activities for OCI cloud environments and tenant workloads
- Build and deploy OCI infrastructure using Terraform
- Automate operational tasks such as user management and security hardening using Ansible and Python
- Design and implement connectivity between OCI, data centres, and other cloud service providers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud networking, storage, and performance
- Support the adoption of DevOps culture, tools, and methodologies across the organisation
- Contribute to incident and problem management, including Level 2 and Level 3 support
Who you are
- Possess strong expertise in cloud technologies, networking, security, and platform engineering, particularly in OCI
- Experienced in OCI services such as Compute, Networking, IAM, and multi-tenant environments
- Proficient in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python
- Familiar with DevOps tools including GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and Oracle Resource Manager
- Have working experience with microservices architectures using OCI OKE and Functions
- Knowledgeable in scripting languages such as Shell and Python
- Understanding of ITIL, SOX, and security compliance frameworks
- Experienced in managing critical production environments and web-based applications
- Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Hold a degree in IT or related field with relevant experience in cloud computing or enterprise IT
- OCI certifications and telecommunications domain experience are beneficial
