About this Role
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. The individual will design and implement ETL processes, data migration solutions, and scalable data pipelines for telecom domain projects. This role requires strong knowledge of ODI concepts, data warehousing, and hands-on experience with GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Data Fusion.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement data integration solutions to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Optimise and tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata to support analytics and reporting.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Stay updated with the latest GCP technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Who you are
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Oracle Data Integrator with modelling and ETL design.
- Expertise in telecom domain for data migration projects and solution design.
- Strong knowledge of ODI concepts and experience in creating interfaces, packages, functions, procedures, and scenarios.
- Hands-on experience in creating load plans and scheduling them using ODI scheduler.
- Ability to create or modify ODI knowledge modules.
- Good understanding of RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and clear understanding of the data warehouse lifecycle.
