About this role
We are seeking an OSS Solution Designer to define and deliver end‑to‑end OSS solutions that enable IP network design and support interface/API architecture across Vodafone’s global landscape. In this position, the individual will contribute to the enhancement of the Network Asset Management Inventory (NAMI) by integrating diverse network discovery sources, designing interfaces for security systems, and supporting automation of engineering processes. The role collaborates closely with engineering, OSS, security teams, suppliers, and multiple Vodafone European markets.
What you will do
- Act as the technical design lead within OSS Support & Readiness, assessing requirements and designs to ensure alignment with Vodafone strategy, customer needs, and automation objectives.
- Partner with colleagues across OSS, Engineering, Security, and external vendors to develop and deliver enhancements ranging from minor updates to large-scale development initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with system users and security stakeholders, incorporating their needs and supporting network asset documentation processes.
- Deliver security requirements for Network Asset Inventory, including designing and enhancing interfaces with security systems.
- Ensure solutions follow telecom industry standards such as 3GPP and TM Forum.
Who you are
- Experienced in OSS solution design, including API/interface design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and IP/network solution design.
- Background in IP networking and security concepts.
- Awareness of OSS technologies related to IP networks, including inventory systems and IP infrastructure monitoring.
- Strong understanding of mobile and fixed network technologies and architectures.
- Experience with database and inventory platforms is considered beneficial.
- Holds a technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- Possesses relevant certifications such as CCNA, AWS/GCP, and ideally Amdocs Inventory.
