About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Analyst to deliver high‑quality non‑functional testing services across VOIS within a complex telecommunications environment. This role focuses on planning, designing, executing and analysing performance tests across cloud, CRM and middleware platforms, ensuring systems, services and components meet agreed quality, cost and timeline objectives. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers and multi‑vendor partners in a global delivery model, contributing to continuous improvement of testing standards and methodologies.

What you’ll do

Understand the telecommunications technology stack, delivery approaches and strategic initiatives to define appropriate performance and non‑functional test strategies.Plan, design and execute performance testing activities, including workload modelling, dynamic scripting and scenario creation.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into performance test requirements and acceptance criteria.Analyse non‑functional requirements, volumetrics and performance test results, communicating findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.Develop, maintain and baseline non‑functional test strategies aligned to project risk, schedules and testing processes.Execute performance tests using industry‑standard tools and coordinate testing activities across onshore and offshore teams.Identify, track and support resolution of performance issues in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams.Promote reusability of non‑functional test assets such as scripts and data sets across projects.Define metrics, reporting practices, tools and processes to manage delivery effectively.Drive improvements in test automation, efficiency and continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.Provide regular and ad‑hoc status updates, escalating risks and issues as required to test leadership and stakeholders.Contribute to effort estimation, budget planning and resource planning for performance testing initiatives.Mentor team members and support capability development within the testing function.

Who you are

Experienced in delivering performance and non‑functional testing within large‑scale, multinational environments.Skilled in using load and performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter and SOAP UI across multiple protocols.Comfortable working in CI/CD environments and cloud‑based platforms and applications.Proficient in performance test scripting, execution and results analysis.Knowledgeable in analysing non‑functional requirements and volumetric data.Familiar with programming and scripting concepts including Java, C, basic SQL, shell scripting and macro development.Confident in analysing JVM behaviour, garbage collection, thread dumps and database performance (Oracle and SQL Server).Experienced with application performance monitoring and profiling tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, CA Wily or similar.Able to communicate effectively in English and collaborate in a diverse, multi‑cultural environment.Comfortable working within a matrix organisation and open to intermittent international travel.
