What you’ll do

  • Define, implement and monitor demand management processes, addressing process deviations and guiding Project Managers and Technical Managers.
  • Define and implement estimation processes and tools, providing guidance and monitoring process adherence.
  • Establish tools and processes for weekly commercial reporting and ensure appropriate follow-up where deviations are identified.
  • Define and implement invoicing processes and tools, including third-party actuals and charges.
  • Manage billing activities to ensure chargeable work is appropriately invoiced and recharged, supporting the resolution of billing issues and queries.
  • Define and implement resource roll-on and roll-off processes and tools.
  • Maintain appropriate tracking of resource information and help ensure privacy and security requirements are followed.
  • Define and implement a SharePoint service site and appropriate access controls for different knowledge areas.
  • Establish communication channels, groups, ownership and associated operating rules.
  • Support Project Managers and Technical Managers in consistently applying agreed PMO processes.
  • Analyse the impact of process changes and contribute to streamlined day-to-day operations.

 

Who you are

You have at least three years of IT management experience.
You have relevant software and management experience.
You have a good technology background supported by a degree-level qualification or equivalent.
You have practical experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Excel for project management activities.
You have experience communicating with clients and stakeholders.
You have knowledge of the IT industry.
You hold a graduate or postgraduate qualification in a management-related area.
You demonstrate effective planning, organisation, reporting and analytical capabilities.
You communicate effectively across technical, management and third-party stakeholder groups.
You are comfortable operating within a changing environment and evaluating the impact of changes on established processes.
You can collaborate effectively with teams and provide clear guidance on processes.
