About this Role

We are seeking an experienced project delivery professional to plan and deliver cost‑effective IT infrastructure solutions aligned to global IT strategy and standards. This role focuses on ensuring infrastructure solutions are supportable, operable, and scalable in line with business growth, while maintaining consistent quality and governance. The individual will work closely with VCI delivery teams during early project stages, providing delivery guidance and ensuring readiness for implementation across data centre and network environments.

What you will do

Manage assigned workloads within the Project Delivery and Build function, ensuring priorities are met effectively.Initiate and deliver projects in line with established Project Delivery Management guidelines.Maintain high‑quality, up‑to‑date project data across standard tracking tools and reports.Plan and manage delivery timelines to meet agreed customer expectations, escalating risks when required.Coordinate technical implementations within VCI data centres, including servers, storage, LAN, security, databases, middleware, and related systems.Manage procurement of hardware and software components, ensuring timely availability for scheduled implementations.Ensure configuration data is accurately captured within the configuration management database during service set‑up.Deliver all changes in line with approved change control processes and quality standards.Coordinate backup and restore configurations in accordance with the VCI service catalogue.Provide full project management for complex deliveries using the PRINCE2 framework, including governance, risk management, change control, and stakeholder communication.Support operational readiness and acceptance activities, gaining approvals for operational quality and ensuring smooth handover to operations teams.Review existing delivery processes, providing feedback and leading improvement initiatives where required.

Who you are

An individual with a strong background in IT delivery and infrastructure implementation.Experienced in coordinating cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.Confident in engaging with customers and internal stakeholders through clear, effective communication.Knowledgeable in IT and data centre process standards, including ITIL service management practices.Experienced in IT service provisioning within the telecommunications industry.Technically well‑rounded across a broad range of IT infrastructure topics.Comfortable working in complex, international service and project environments.Fluent in English.Professionally trained in project management, with PRINCE2 certification considered advantageous.
